Eufren is 40 years old. He lives in the community of Cairoma, at the foot of the majestic Illimani, in the department of La Paz.
He lives in a house on his farmland. He has worked in agriculture for 19 years, growing potatoes, and as secondary crops, paprika, tomatoes, corn, and lettuce. He works from Monday to Friday on his land, and on Sundays, he travels to the city of El Alto to sell his products in the markets.
This is the first loan that he requests from the Fundación Sartawi, which he will use to buy organic mulch and seed to begin planting potato.
