How does partnering with Freelygive.org to sponsor children in developing countries work by you buying online through links on the site.

We have received feedback from a number of you and we will try to clarify some things that were raised.

First of all, we are not trying to get you to  buy anything more than you already do.

We are just asking, that if and when you do buy online, book a hotel, a flight etc, that you come through Freelygive.org and use on one of our links to popular stores and services ( Shopping Channel, Dell, Westjet Sony etc. ) in Canada.

You are then partnering with Freelygive.org to sponsor children in developing countries.

• How does this work?
  When you click on a link at Freelygive.org to a partner store or service, a tracking code is attached so that if you make a purchase, the commission is correctly assigned to Freelygive.org.

• Why does Freelygive.org get paid commissions?
  Freelygive.org is paid commissions as we essentially provide FREE advertising for all the products and services sold by each one of our partners.

• Do I pay more for the product or service I buy?
  No you pay exactly the same – Freelygive.org is just being paid for promoting products and services.

• How much is paid in commissions?
  Most commissions FreelyGive.org receives are between 1 and 3%.

• Where does the money raised go?
  Presently all the money received from commissions goes to sponsor children through World Vision Canada and Missionary Ventures Canada, which are registered Canadian charities.
