Dl_Ndeme Group’s story

This group was created in September 2013 and brings together independent women who are principally involved in business and raising animals.

Khady, standing at the right in the photo with her hand raised, is the group’s representative. She is 49, married and mother to six children, of which three are girls. She is active in animal raising, which she has mastered very well.

She plans to buy sheep at a low price at the weekly markets in her area and livestock feed to fatten them up so that she can resell them.

After the sale, the profits she’ll earn will serve to support the schooling needs of her children, and also be reinvested in her business.
